Just like two rooms furniture store location launched their bankruptcy liquidation sales, complaints in Keharyapatihan accused the shop delivery complete.
Andrea Deas bought a bedroom set from Room Furniture Shop in mid-December. Almost three months later, she’s still waiting for Deas is in her bed frame.
“They brought the mirror first, then breastbone, and then the night stand, then cabinets, and now I’m just waiting for the rest,” said Deas, who was moved to El Paso in November and used furniture for new apartments. “If I had known they would file for bankruptcy three weeks after I bought the furniture I have given them my money.”
Lorraine Garcia and her husband paid for two room set, a set of dining room, and a bedroom set also in mid-December.
“What I have to do with half of China’s Cabinet,” Garcia said. “I’m still waiting for the hutch, and we also accept only four of the eight-seat dining room.
KFOX 14 contact corporate office store room to talk about the delivery of the complete, and a spokesman said the company was undergoing a series of changes.
“There is a switch on the processing system around the same time their purchases are made,” said Lisa Brock, a spokesman for the Room Furniture. “The purchase was also made before the company is under new management about a month ago, but we will work to fix this mess.”
The room store is guaranteed to ship the head and foot boards free of cost for the Deas and return the cost of furnishing an unshipped for Garcias. Brock also says the company is closing stores in El Paso, Austin and Houston, but had no complaints because the new CEO Steve Giordano took over.
“Since our new owner, there is a complete redo of everything,” Brock said. “She is a very inspired, she knows the consumer, and it is a problem solver.
